Being Born Again
Jesus Himself said:
“Verily, verliy, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
John 3:3, 6-7
What is being born of the Spirit?
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”
Titus 3:5
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body…”
1 Corinthians 12:13a
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

It’s not automatic!
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
